GTA Online: Free T-Shirt, GTA$500,000 Dre Bonus and the Skeleton Onesie All End on October 21

Some GTA Online weeks you can safely ignore. This is not one of them. Three rewards that are live right now all switch off on Wednesday, October 21, and one of them quietly protects a bonus streak worth GTA$2,000,000. If you only log in once this week, do it before the Wednesday reset.
Here is the short version first. Log in and play before October 21 and you get the Butchery and Other Hobbies T-Shirt free. Finish The Contract finale, the mission called Don’t Fuck With Dre, before October 21 and Rockstar pays you GTA$500,000 within 72 hours. Win three Races before October 21 and the Weekly Challenge pays GTA$100,000 plus the Orange Glow Skeletal Onesie. Miss the challenge and the October streak bonus is gone, because the extra GTA$2,000,000 only pays if you complete every weekly challenge through November 4.
What ends on October 21 in GTA Online?
Three things, and they all end on the same day. The free login item is the Butchery and Other Hobbies T-Shirt, yours just for playing before October 21. The big money item is the GTA$500,000 bonus for completing the Don’t Fuck With Dre finale from The Contract. And the Weekly Challenge, win three Races, pays GTA$100,000 plus the Orange Glow Skeletal Onesie outfit. Weekly coverage of the October 15 to 21 week on GTA BOOM, gtaboss.gg and holdtoreset all list the same rewards and the same end date.
Why does the Weekly Challenge matter more than it looks?
On its own, GTA$100,000 and a glowing skeleton onesie are nice, not essential. The real reason to finish it is the streak. Rockstar is running a run of weekly challenges through November 4, and completing all of them pays an extra GTA$2,000,000, again within 72 hours of finishing. Streaks do not forgive a missed week. Skip the three Race wins and that two million is gone no matter what you do in the following weeks. Three short races is a cheap price to keep it alive.
What should you do first when you log in?
Start with The Contract finale if you have it unlocked, because GTA$500,000 is the biggest single payout on the table and the bonus lands within 72 hours of completion. Then knock out the three Race wins for the challenge; standard races count, and you do not need a full lobby of tryhards to get them done. The T-shirt needs nothing from you beyond logging in and playing, so it takes care of itself. While you are in, this week also pays 3X GTA$ and RP on Halloween Survivals and the Slasher Featured Series, and Agency properties are 40 percent off, if you have been waiting to buy one.
Is any of this coming back later?
The Halloween bonuses rotate every year in some form, but this exact set, the T-shirt, the Dre bonus and the onesie, is tied to the October 15 to 21 week. Once the October 21 reset hits, the challenge streak is broken for good. If you want the longer money guides after this week, our breakdown of how to make money in GTA Online covers the businesses that keep paying after the weekly bonuses end.
FAQ
Q: When do the GTA Online weekly rewards end?
A: The current rewards end on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the weekly reset. That includes the free Butchery and Other Hobbies T-Shirt, the GTA$500,000 Contract finale bonus and the Weekly Challenge reward.
Q: How do I get the GTA$500,000 Dre bonus?
A: Complete the finale mission of The Contract, called Don’t Fuck With Dre, before October 21. The GTA$500,000 bonus is paid within 72 hours of completing it.
Q: What is the GTA Online Weekly Challenge for October 15 to 21?
A: Win three Races. The reward is GTA$100,000 plus the Orange Glow Skeletal Onesie, and finishing it keeps your streak alive for the extra GTA$2,000,000 bonus that pays after the November 4 challenge.
Q: What happens if I miss one weekly challenge?
A: The streak bonus is lost. The extra GTA$2,000,000 only pays if every weekly challenge in the run through November 4 is completed.

GTA 6 Launch Trailer Is Out: 90 Seconds of New Jason and Lucia Footage, One Month Before Release

Rockstar did not tease this one for weeks. On Thursday, October 15, the official GTA 6 launch trailer simply appeared, 90 seconds of in-game footage captured on PS5, one month before the game lands on November 19. It reportedly passed 22 million views within about a day, and honestly, watching it twice back to back, that number is easy to believe.
Here is the short version. The trailer opens in the Leonida Keys and follows Jason and Lucia through heists, a helicopter escape and the moment their easy score falls apart. Rockstar’s own story description says the pair get pulled into a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida and are forced to rely on each other if they want to survive it. The soundtrack song is “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. And yes, the release date still holds: Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
What does the GTA 6 launch trailer actually show?
The footage is all in-game capture from a PS5, which is worth saying out loud, because it means the lighting, the water and the crowded streets are the game itself, not a rendered commercial. The trailer opens in the Leonida Keys, the island chain at the bottom of the map, then moves fast: robberies, police pressure, and a helicopter escape sequence that several breakdowns keep replaying. If you want the geography behind those shots, our GTA 6 map guide covers Leonida’s confirmed regions.
What is the story setup this time?
Rockstar’s description of the trailer keeps it simple. Jason and Lucia take on what should be an easy score, it goes wrong, and suddenly the two of them are in the middle of a conspiracy that stretches across Leonida. The trailer leans hard on the idea that neither of them gets out alone. It is a Bonnie and Clyde setup, but the footage shows the reliance part more than the romance part, which is a more interesting choice.
What do we learn about Jason and Lucia?
Two details stand out. Jason’s part shows his background in the Army, and the trailer makes clear he did not leave on the best of terms. Lucia’s part opens with a call from Lucia Caminos, and in one shot an ankle tag is visible on her. What that tag means is still unconfirmed. Plenty of fans read it as a parole detail, and outlets like Escapist flag it the same way, as speculation rather than fact. We are treating it the same way here: it is in the trailer, the meaning is not confirmed, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.
What is the song in the launch trailer?
The track is “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, the electronic duo composing the game’s score, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It debuts in this trailer and belongs to “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album”, which Rockstar says is available to pre-save on streaming services, with vinyl and CD pre-orders open. GTA trailers have a habit of sending their songs up the charts, so do not be surprised when this one follows.
When does GTA 6 come out, and what does it cost?
Nothing about the date changed with the trailer. GTA 6 launches Thursday, November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-load starting November 12. The standard edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate edition is $99.99. Our release date post tracks every official date announcement, the price and editions guide breaks down what each version includes, and the pre-order guide covers where to secure a copy. There is still no announced PC release date, whatever the rumour accounts are posting this week.
FAQ
Q: When did the GTA 6 launch trailer come out?
A: Rockstar released the official launch trailer on Thursday, October 15, 2026, about five weeks before the game’s November 19 launch.
Q: How long is the GTA 6 launch trailer?
A: It runs 90 seconds and is captured in-game on PS5, according to Rockstar.
Q: What song plays in the GTA 6 launch trailer?
A: “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It is part of the official album, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
Q: Does the launch trailer confirm a PC version?
A: No. The trailer and Rockstar’s posts mention only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for the November 19, 2026 launch. No PC release date has been announced.
Q: What is the ankle tag on Lucia in the trailer?
A: An ankle tag is visible on Lucia in one shot. Its meaning has not been confirmed by Rockstar, so readings of it as a parole detail are speculation for now.

GTA 6 Pre-Order Guide: Where to Buy, Which Edition and the Bonus Deadline

GTA 6 pre-orders have been open since June 25, 2026, and with launch 35 days away, the questions have shifted from “how much” to “okay, how do I actually do this properly?” Which store, which edition, digital or physical, and what is this bonus deadline people keep mentioning? This guide answers all of it in order, with no fluff and no affiliate nonsense, just the steps.
I pre-ordered the Standard Edition digitally, and by the end of this page you will know exactly why, and whether the same choice makes sense for you.
Where to pre-order GTA 6
GTA 6 is available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store (PS5), the Microsoft Store (Xbox Series X|S), the Rockstar Store, and major games retailers for the physical edition. Pre-orders on Rockstar’s own store are limited to one per customer. There is no PC version to pre-order anywhere, and no other platforms exist for this launch.
Prices are the same story everywhere official: $79.99 for Standard, $99.99 for Ultimate in the US. If you see a listing priced very differently, especially higher, you are looking at a reseller, not a deal.
Step one: pick your edition
Standard Edition, $79.99: the complete game and story. Nothing cut. This is the right choice for most players.
Ultimate Edition, $99.99: the game plus exclusive vehicles, weapons, outfits, a second garage, a car restoration activity and exclusive shops. Digital only. Standard owners can upgrade later, so this is not a now or never decision.
The full side by side, regional prices included, lives on our GTA 6 price page. And a warning worth repeating: the $399.99 Vice City Collection is merchandise, not a game edition. It does not include GTA 6.
Step two: digital or physical?
Here is the twist of this launch: both routes end at the same download. The physical edition’s box contains a download code, not a disc. Physical copies reach shops on November 12 so you can redeem the code early.
So the choice is really about the shelf, not the game. Want a box on display and the option to lend the code unopened? Physical. Want zero friction and the game tied to your account forever? Digital. The game itself, and the pre-load date, are identical.
Step three: order before November 20
Every pre-order placed before November 20, 2026 includes the Vintage Vice City Pack free: a classic Vapid Stanier, a garage, retro outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders also get one month of GTA+ for the existing GTA Online.
Rockstar says the bonus pack will not be available after launch, so this deadline is the one genuinely time-sensitive part of pre-ordering. Miss it and the pack is gone, not just delayed.
Step four: pre-load on November 12
Pre-loading opens November 12, 2026, a week before launch, for digital copies and redeemed physical codes alike. Do it. Launch nights are famous for millions of people downloading at once, and the players who pre-loaded are the ones actually playing at unlock while everyone else watches a progress bar. The countdown and every key date are on our GTA 6 release date page.
Should you pre-order at all? My honest take
Digital games do not sell out, so pre-ordering is never about securing a copy. The real reasons are exactly two: the Vintage Vice City Pack, and walking into November 19 pre-loaded and ready. If neither matters to you, waiting for reviews costs you nothing, and I will never pretend otherwise on this site.
For me, twenty years of waiting made the decision. Standard, digital, ordered, bonus locked, pre-load scheduled. See you in Leonida.
Quick questions

The Vintage Vice City Pack, free with orders placed before November 20, 2026. Digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+.
Does the physical copy come with a disc?
No. The box contains a download code. Physical copies are in shops from November 12 for early redemption and pre-load.
When can I pre-load GTA 6?
From November 12, 2026, one week before the November 19 launch.
Standard or Ultimate?
Standard is the full game at $79.99. Ultimate at $99.99 adds vehicles, outfits, a second garage and extras, and Standard can be upgraded later. Our GTA 6 news page tracks any changes between now and launch.
GTA 6 pre-order FAQ

GTA 6 on PC: Release Date Status and What Rockstar Has Actually Said

Let me save you the searching, PC players, because I am one of you at heart: Rockstar has not announced a PC version of GTA 6. There is no GTA 6 PC release date, no Steam page, no pre-order, nothing. The game launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Everything else you have read with a specific PC date attached is somebody guessing, and in the worst cases, somebody scamming.
This page is the honest status, kept updated: what Rockstar has actually said, what the studio’s own history suggests about the wait, and how to spot the fake PC pages that are already multiplying.
Last updated: October 15, 2026.
What Rockstar has said about GTA 6 on PC
Nothing. That is the whole answer. Every official GTA 6 announcement, the trailers, the August 2026 extended look, the June 2026 price and pre-order reveal, lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC is not mentioned as a launch platform, a later platform, or anything else. The official stores taking pre-orders, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Rockstar’s own store, have no PC edition to sell you.
Silence is not a no forever. Rockstar almost never announces the PC version of a game alongside the console launch. But as of today, October 15, 2026, a PC version is unannounced, and anyone telling you a month and year is writing fiction.
What Rockstar’s history suggests
History is not a promise, but it is the only pattern we have, so here it is, labelled clearly as pattern, not news.
GTA 5 launched on consoles in September 2013 and arrived on PC in April 2015, roughly a year and a half later. Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on consoles in October 2018 and reached PC in November 2019, roughly a year later. If GTA 6 follows the family tradition, PC players could be waiting somewhere around a year or more after November 2026. Could be shorter, could be longer, could theoretically never be announced until it suddenly is. That is genuinely all anyone outside Rockstar knows.
Watch out for fake GTA 6 PC pages
This part matters. Search “GTA 6 PC download” or “GTA 6 Steam key” today and you will find pages selling keys for a game that does not exist on PC, and downloads that are malware wearing a Vice City jacket. There is no PC version to download, no key to buy, and no beta. If a site asks for money, card details or a download for GTA 6 on PC before Rockstar announces one, close the tab. The real announcement will be on Rockstar’s own channels and impossible to miss.
Your options as a PC player
Wait, with eyes open. The likeliest outcome, based on history, is a PC release well after launch. Our GTA 6 news page will carry the announcement the day it exists.
Play on console. If November 19 matters to you, PS5 or Xbox Series X|S is the way in, and our GTA 6 price page and release date page cover editions and the countdown.
Keep an eye on streaming. Our coverage of the GTA 6 Xbox Cloud Gaming story explains what has been said about playing through the cloud, which may matter to players without a current console.
And protect your current rig’s honour: GTA 5 with mods is still the best waiting room in gaming. You know where the cheat codes live on this site.
Quick questions
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC version. Launch platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
What is the GTA 6 PC release date?
There is none. No PC date has been announced, and any specific date you see online is a guess.
When will GTA 6 come to PC, realistically?
Unknown. Rockstar’s history (GTA 5 took about 19 months, Red Dead Redemption 2 about 13) suggests a long wait if the pattern holds, but nothing is confirmed.
Can I pre-order GTA 6 on Steam?
No. There is no Steam page and no PC pre-order. Sites selling PC keys today are scams.
Are the GTA 6 PC system requirements out?
No. No PC version exists to have requirements. Any “official requirements” list online is invented.
GTA 6 PC release FAQ
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch. Rockstar has not announced a PC version or a PC release date, and I would treat any page selling you a PC key today as a scam.
When will GTA 6 release on PC?
Nobody knows, and anyone naming a month and year is guessing. Rockstar announces PC versions on its own schedule, and historically that has been a year or more after the console launch.
Why is GTA 6 not on PC at launch?
Rockstar has never launched a GTA on PC day one alongside consoles, and GTA 6 follows that pattern. It is frustrating for PC players like me, but it is the studio's history, not a surprise.
Will GTA 6 be on Steam at launch?
No. There is no Steam page and no PC pre-order, so there is nothing to wishlist yet. I will update this page the moment Rockstar announces anything.
